by donating to the zoo, you’re supporting extensive efforts to protect endangered animals and plants.

giving would mean the world.

When We Evolve, They Thrive.

Giving would mean the world to the animals we work so hard to save. As the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden’s expertise in animal care, conservation, education, and horticulture continues to grow, our habitats need to grow with it.  In 2018, we launched the More Home to Roam capital campaign with an ambitious goal of $150 million.  The campaign is gaining momentum, thanks to large and small gifts, but we need your help to achieve our goal to dramatically transform our habitats and expand community and conservation efforts, here and around the world.

FROM SAVING SPECIES TO CHANGING LIVES, CARING, COMMITMENT AND COURAGE ARE NEEDED. FROM ALL OF US.

BUILDING A BETTER ZOO

Cincinnati Zoo is investing in the future of the city by creating a space where animals and people can thrive. World-class habitats for kangaroos, little blue penguins, African penguins, rhinos, elephants and more are coming to life. Improved visitor experience, including streamlined entry and a new Adventure Ropes Course, is also part of the plan!

WHERE WILL YOUR MONEY GO?

A campaign of this size will take support from the entire community. Every gift matters no matter how big or small. In fact, if less than 5% of people in Greater Cincinnati committed to giving $150 for 5 years, our goal would be achieved.

HERE ARE JUST A FEW EXAMPLES OF WHAT YOUR GIFT WILL HELP ACCOMPLISH:

A new and larger pool, beach area, filtration building, viewing cave, penguin feeding area and indoor accommodations for African penguins.

$4 MILLION

Historical Elephant House dome improvements including concrete repairs, new insulation and membrane coating, and other upgrades.

$1 MILLION

Kangaroo habitat – outdoor yard, indoor bedroom area with soft-surface flooring, water elements, and outdoor enrichment areas

$2 MILLION

YOU CANNOT GET THROUGH A SINGLE DAY WITHOUT HAVING AN IMPACT ON THE WORLD AROUND YOU. WHAT YOU DO MAKES A DIFFERENCE.
